According to a press release from CAM, Tacla is a New York-based artist who creates blurred photos used to represent the damaged view of the world. In the 1980s and 1990s, Tacla devoted his paintings to what is thought of as the world's "worst nightmares." His subjects consist of the bombing of the Alfred Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City and multiple conflicts in the Middle East.
