Cristin Tierney Gallery is pleased to announce two new typewriting performances by Tim Youd in Chicago in partnership with the Newberry Library, The Arts Club of Chicago, and Phyllis' Musical Inn. During the summer, Youd will retype two novels by American author Nelson Algren: Never Come Morning and The Man with the Golden Arm. These will be the 75th and 76th performances from the artist's decade-long 100 Novels Project. They continue Youd's project that began last summer with The Arts Club of Chicago when he retyped Sherwood Anderson's Winesburg, Ohio and Upton Sinclair's The Jungle.
