From February through November of each year, Stove Works’ Artist Residency invites eight Artists to live/work for one-to-three months at a time. Their residency serves as a moment away from the rigamarole of life and an opportunity for Artists to take advantage of the dedicated time, space, resources, and community we have to offer. They have no expectations for how Artists use their time at Stove Works; do whatever is best for themselves. They ask only that you come with an open and kind mind and believe the relationships artists build onsite are as valuable as the work they create while they are here.
Stove Works' mission is to serve the Chattanooga community by providing local, national, and international artists a venue for the production of, the exhibition of, and education through contemporary works of art.
