Cristin Tierney Gallery is pleased to present new paintings from Joe Fig's Contemplation series at The Art Show in November. This is the gallery's first exhibition in The Art Show since joining the ADAA in 2021. The fair opens with a benefit preview on November 2nd and continues through Sunday, November 6th.
Joe Fig's Contemplation paintings depict art viewers and artworks he has experienced in numerous exhibitions over the past eight years. A regular observer of art exhibitions, he trains his eye by contemplating other artists' work, choosing to paint exhibitions that he finds especially inspiring. His resulting body of work surveys a rich diversity of styles, periods, and artistic media.
