Cristin Tierney Gallery is pleased to participate in the Editions/Artists' Book (E/AB) Fair's inaugural online edition with works by Melanie Baker, peter campus, MK Guth, Malia Jensen and Dread Scott. The fair, which features new and contemporary prints, multiples, and artists' books, opens at noon on Wednesday, October 14th and continues through Wednesday, October 28th. All works will be available at http://eabfair.org/.
Among the works offered is Dread Scott's fundraising print Vote Biden. The screenprint, which references Andy Warhol's Vote McGovern print from 1972 as well as Deborah Kass's Vote Hillary version from 2016, is available in a limited edition of 100. Donations are being directed to Black Voters Matter, a 501c4 organization that supports voter registration, policy advocacy and organizational development in Black communities. To donate and receive a print, contact the gallery at 212.594.0550 or info@cristintierney.com.
In this final stretch before the presidential election, every action counts, whether it is donating, knocking on doors, registering people to vote, exercising your right to protest, educating yourself on the issues, or calling your representatives. Cristin Tierney Gallery is funding the prints' production and will ship the unframed works directly to donors. Vote Biden is available for minimum $250; the net amount less sales tax and shipping fees will be given to Black Voters Matter.
